Never Give Up

there is this story that i want to share ... this story is picked as one of my favorites when i'm reading Why We Want You To Be Rich by Mr. Donald J. Trump and also Mr. Robert T. Kiyosaki ... both of them had joined forces to write this magnificent book ...

this story is originated from Mr. Trump's father when he keep reminding his children about not to give up no matter what we do in our life ... here it goes ...

this story is about a guy who loved soda, so he went into the soda business, with a product he called 3UP. It failed. So, he started again with a soda called 4UP. It failed, too. So, he decided to name his product 5UP and worked just as hard to make it work, but sure enough, if failed again. He realized that he still loved soda, so he tried again with a product named 6UP. It failed, and he gave up completely.

then, a few years later, someone else came up with a soda product and named it 7UP, which became a huge success ...

whats the moral of the story? it is mainly about not giving up and keep trying no matter you failed how many times ... interesting and meaningful ? i bet it is ...

live life to the max ... cheers =)

  2. i'm so sorry for this late only reply to your comment ... i'm at taiping working actually =) thats why i didnt update my blog recently ...

bout your question ... let me tell you a story ... a story of my idol where i put him as my motivator ...

the late tan sri lim goh tong was from china ... he couldnt afford a proper education and his family was so poor that he came to malaysia to earn a living ... from there, we could see the late tan sri dont have money and the education which it is said to be the core to be successful ...

what makes the late tan sri so successful is his determination, vision and motivation that pushes him up to the top of the world ... if we know the late tan sri can do it without money and proper education, why couldnt we do it also ?

this is the question where we need to think about ... replace your dream as your goal ... set your goal and remain FOCUS in it ... be determine with your goal ... and soon enough, you will get what u want to achieve in your life ... money/ modal problem is future ... depends on whether people want to invest for you or you yourself can work for it ...

i dont think your dream of opening a cafe is unrealistic ... it is good to set a goal from young so we could have time to achieve it ... do you want to be 30 years old and above only to set your own goal ? by that time, it is too late ...

now u know what u want to achieve ... remain FOCUS in it ... i use FOCUS cause if you really give your full attention in one thing, u will really become successful provided the PROCESS to achieve it is RIGHT ...

as my blog up there post ... NEVER GIVE UP ! do u want to be like the one who gave up and see other people becoming successful ? i'm sure you dont ...

if u have dream, live it =)

    cheers ^^

  3. Hey, you told me 'bout your idol when you're 17. I still remember that. I know can't remember but never mind that. So, if I want to be in the buisness line, should I straight away go to Arts stream? But studying account in malay is damn bored. So can I study sc stream 1st, then I change to buisness when I go to college? Thx for your advice. May I post it in my blog?

  4. welcome =) i'm glad that i can open your mind and expose yourself to the world ... hehe ...

yes, you may post that advice to your blog ... hope the advice above can bring hope to you and your friends as well ...

business line is vast ... there are a big varieties of lines and majors you could follow ... but, be focus on what you want to achieve first ... i said that because your personality and your attitude could make you choose the best major you want when you further your studies ...

let me tell you about the majors ...

    a: business admin (office job)
b: marketing (deal with product, place, promotion and price)
    c: accounting (obviously about accounts)
d: entrepeurnership (building and manage company)
e: financial economics (deal with investments)
f: finance (about stocks, bonds and all)
g: banking and finance (banking and also financing)

find a major which suits you and you enjoy doing it ... dont because of peer influences only you choose that subject ...

and you talk about arts and science stream ... if you are saying you will go to business stream, why do you want to waste your time in science stream ? those subjects dont help you in future ...

thats all i would like to say ...

    cheers =)

  8. anonymous,

you forget to leave your name again ...

winners might lose once in a while, but losers are destined to lose ... so, do we want to be the losing one all the time? what we have to do is to be in the winner's mindset to set our winning ways.

    thanks for your comment !
