Today is New Year's Eve. The last day of the year 2009. I am so glad this year is coming to an end. To be honest, this year consider disastrous for me. Just hope 2010 will be a joyous and fruitful year for me. Not just only me, but also to you, the reader of my blog.

Life
These few days, i keep on thinking about the title up there. Life.
2009 has been a bad year for me. It really does. The reason why I say this is mainly because bad news keep coming to my ears and eyes. I found out that life is really fragile. You could be happy and playing around today but the next day, you maybe will find yourself either in the hospital or if serious, in the casket.
First bad news: While I was focusing for my Year 1 Sem 1 final exam, I received a sms from my sister. My sister told me that my uncle had passed away. He wouldnt be around anymore. He wont wake up anymore. To tell the truth, my uncle is really a very very good man. He would be given a prize of No.1 Uncle if there is this award in this world. He is a very cheerful man. Yet, a reunion with his friend lead him to death. He was drinking at the highway. Then, he want to go to "pee". Just couldnt accept the fact that he fall down from the highway, his ribs broken and penetrate his heart. And he died.
Second bad news: Every newspaper report about them. UTAR brand appears at most of the newspapers because of them too. Yes, the Batu Berangkai waterfall tragedy that led to death of 3 UTAR students. Eventhough I dont really know them and they dont know me, but i feel a sense of pity that this tragedy happens to them. A joyful outing leads to the death of 3 UTAR students. 3 very bright UTAR students too. What they left behind is, tears and sorrow from their beloved family and friends.
Third bad news: My buddy, Yok Chee Yuan's friend at Pahang is in the intensive care unit now. Yok told me that the day before he was admitted in the hospital, his friend called him for a chat and mentioned that he will come to UTAR next year to further his studies. But now he is in a very critical situation and had been coma for two weeks. The doctor told his family to prepare for the worst. But nothing can be done, all we can do is just pray together so he would overcome this difficulties.
Forth bad news: UTAR Year 1 Sem 3 advertising student, Lam Sei Whye had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), which is a type of blood cancer. She is currently receiving her treatment in Subang Jaya Medical Centre. The medical expenses required for her treatment is RM 200,000. And she is in a desperate form in terms of money. For fellow UTARians, please donate sincerely at the booth at the cafeteria start from 23th, 25th and 26th November to help our friend out there. Your donations will be greatly appreciated!
Last week, I had a dream that I was knocked by a very hard steel at my head. When I woke up, I found my body was lying on the floor with blood around my body. That time, I know I was dead. There is a blank on my mind and I realize I had not done what I wanted to do in my life yet. All I could do at that time was just repeating the phrase "I still got a lot of things havent do". I saw my mother sitting on the chair. She could not see me. That feeling of dead is really scary. You would not know what to do as your soul wanders around. I was thankful when I woke up finding myself still alive.
Life is really fragile. You would not expect what will happen at the next second. All tragedy happen because of our own carelessness. No matter what you do in life. Keep it in mind, safety is always the priority, not joy. Keep yourself safe so your family wont be crying next to your own coffin. Please, do take care of your own. She regret as she will never ever have the chance to tell to the person what she have in her mind because that person is already dead.

The biography of the inspiring artist, Mr. Chia Hoy SaiThanks to the brochure in the male toilet and also the notification in the Foundation's notice board. I come to know about this meaningful art gallery.
This event is organised by the Soka Gakkai Malaysia organization. First time heard about this organization? This is also my first time to hear about this organization. To my suprise, Soka Gakkai is a religious organization that is under Buddhism but they only promote one sutra from Buddhism. Besides that, Soka Gakkai not only emphasizes on religion but they also promote peace and unity, cultures and also education.
Soka Gakkai is famous with their only one verse of chant which is "nam myo ho renge kyo". It is said that this verse will bring you guidance whenever you given up your life. From that verse, numerous guidelines will appear to help you get through your life and stand back up strong again. The founder and also president is Daisaku Ikeda Sen Sei who possessed more than 200 honorary doctorate degree and wrote manybooks. Great man isn't he?
Thanks to Miss Lok Bee Lan who is the Head for the Department of Soft Skills Competency and also a loyal member of Soka Gakkai for the meaning of Soka Gakkai and serving me more than 1 hour. And also my lecture classmate, Ong Yun Ru for the welcome. I know i waste most of your time. Sorry for that, but you really did a great job in your duty. Double thumbs up =)

God's Intention
Human being has 2 eyes, 2 ears and 1 mouth ... i think all humans have these features unless they are physically abnormal ...
from here, we can see God's intention ... why do I say this is mainly because God gives us 2 eyes and 2 ears as He want us to observe more and listen more ... observe more about the current issues and listen to people's ideas to improve ourselves ...
the reason why God don't give us 2 mouths is because He doesn't want us to talk more than observing and listening ... He created us with 1 mouth is because He want us to talk only when it is neccessary ...
another reason why God created us with 2 hands is because He want us to do more than we talk ... everybody can talk, but none of them actually do as they talk ... that is His intention by giving us 2 hands ...
unfortunately, we nowadays talk more than observe ... talk more than listening ... and of course talk more than doing ...
so you know what is God's intention now ?

No Idea
Just don't know why ... my heart don't feel comfortable tonight ... it is as though i face a lot of problems that make me feel stress ... it is as though i had lost something that had became a part of me for very long ...

Never Give Up
there is this story that i want to share ... this story is picked as one of my favorites when i'm reading Why We Want You To Be Rich by Mr. Donald J. Trump and also Mr. Robert T. Kiyosaki ... both of them had joined forces to write this magnificent book ...
this story is originated from Mr. Trump's father when he keep reminding his children about not to give up no matter what we do in our life ... here it goes ...
this story is about a guy who loved soda, so he went into the soda business, with a product he called 3UP. It failed. So, he started again with a soda called 4UP. It failed, too. So, he decided to name his product 5UP and worked just as hard to make it work, but sure enough, if failed again. He realized that he still loved soda, so he tried again with a product named 6UP. It failed, and he gave up completely.
then, a few years later, someone else came up with a soda product and named it 7UP, which became a huge success ...

change of mood
i go to bed on 1am sharp ... but after knowing that my dearest uncle had passed away ... quantitative techniques 1 exam is on 9am ... it is hard and impossible to get to sleep soundly ... i pray for my uncle to come into my dream to have a chat with me ... but he didnt appear ... i struggle with myself ... forcing myself to sleep ... finally ... i get to sleep at 4am ...
wake up at 6am ... to prepare myself for the exam at 9am ... stress and panic is the mood at that time ... i can only cramp every details inside my brain ... and release everything out in the exam ... thankfully, i manage to answer the questions ... though i know i made a mistake that will cost me to lose about 20 marks ... but ... it is better than nothing ...
have to give the credit to Tan Jing Cong to send me to my grandmother's house ... where my uncle is there already ... i saw my mom talking to my uncle at the coffin ... i finally see my uncle ... but, he is sleeping at the coffin ... wont wake up anymore ... i thought i could control my emotion ... but when my godfather hug me ... tears start to fall ... i knell down on the floor ... i feel very very bad ... mood at that time ... sad
went to yuvaraj's house for his farewell party ... he feel very happy when he saw me ... he thought i couldnt make it ... thanks for your dinner ... really appreciate it ... hope u dont mind that i leave early ... as you know, i have some personal problems ...
back to grandma's hse ... everything seems dull ... black and white is the color ... even the rice that you eat is black and white ... everything was so dull ... and the people around is either crying or asking the God why would He take such wonderful person away from us ...
we wont expect what will happen the next moment ... life is something fragile and you wont exect what will happen next ... appreciate everything you can at the moment ...

Another Left
in my heart, he is always someone cheerful ... though he have a lot of problems such as getting in debt, divorce with his beloved wife, separate with his 3 beloved children ... he still can carve a smile on his face ...
when i was small ... i love to see him ... learning kung fu sparing styles from him ... played kung fu sparing with him ... and i was impress by his sense of agility ... he can manage to block all my attacks by using one hand ... can imagine how good is he ?
when i was small ... he always pamper me and my cousins by buying us sweets ... kids love sweets ... and he manage to create a song from sweets just for us ... how thoughtful is he right ?
in our heart, he is always the best uncle we could ever wish for ... maybe cause of his love on kids ... even you are not his child, he will treat u as his own child ...
as time pass by, i couldnt see the smile on his face anymore ... the last time i see him smiling is when the day he married ... we thought he got a good wife ... but his nightmare starts ... his wife got in the dominant position than he is ... he was forced to be double role ... one role is work hard for his family ... one more role is become a house-husband in his home ...
outside ... his wife would be in the dominant position and scold him like a dog ... we thought they are just playing ... but it wasnt to be ... all the time, his wife would scold him ... words such as "useless", "hopeless" will come out from his mouth ... she even scolded him in front of his friends and family members ... because of his love to his wife, he didnt even say a single word to go against his wife ... everybody say he is scared of his wife ... but for him ... he love his wife until he wont go against her ... for me ... she is just too much ...
his wife made a decision to leave him ... making a lot of cork and bull stories about compensation a wife should get from a divorce is just over the line ... his love for her had make him lost ... and ... he left us ...
now he is gone ... gone to reunite with his dad ...
my uncle is gone ... it is just too sudden ... but anyhow ... you will be missed ... you will be remembered ...

Vacancy
i'm planning to form a society in UTAR ... been thinking of this for about 2 weeks already ... friends and housemates thought i'm joking ... but i was not ... and i went to the UTAR Department of Students Affair to take the form to apply to form a society ...
i've been thinking of forming a society call Young Investors Society ... this society mainly focus on personal development of interest in investment for all UTAR students ... though some might say, there is Financial Economics Society ... yes, but they are course based and the members are mostly from Financial Economics course ... my purpose of forming Young Investors Society is to attract and gather every students from every faculty, every course to develop interest about investments ...
why do i have this intention to form this society ? the problem arose when most teenagers will leave out the business sections of every newspaper and focus mainly on entertainment section ... we have no idea on how to look at the graph of investments ... though we know the key to financial freedom is through passive incomes from investments ... finally, if we hold a mindset to study and score well in university ... wait for a good job and goob pay cheques ... by that time, we are already 26 or 27 ... if that time only we start to know of investments, it is already too late ... why not we just develop our interest, know the basic of investment and get rid of the word "investment is risky" ... for me, investment is not risky ... what is risky is, we invest without investment knowledge ... that is what bring most people down ...
thats for my objectives and purpose ... i have to gather up 13 members to start a comittee ...
and the most headache part is the secretary part ... till now, the secretary position is still vacant ...

To Turn The Word Around
everyone of us will go through stages of life ... as we grow older, we see things even more ... learning things pratically gave us wonderful experience ... falling in love is a subject where we learn practically ... we learn how to take care of our partner, we learn how to share our feelings with each other WITHOUT LEARNING THEM FROM BOOK ...
and so, falling in love is one of the stages we will go through in our life ... yes, there will be happy moments when everything goes well ... but there will also be unhappy, frustrated moments esspecially when things goes bad and leads to break ups ... As Sir Isaac Newton famous law states that "for every action, there is equal and opposite reaction" ...
it takes a lot of courage and determination to stand back up from a break up ... but what make it even harder is when we have to accept the fact of the break up and be friends back with our ex partners ...
a lot of people i met said once a couple break up, they could never be friends back ... from what i see, that is the fact ... a lot of couple will feel awkward to meet each other, so they would rather dont meet each other ... if possible, for their whole life to avoid the awkward situation ...
but i want to ask, is it impossible for ex partners to be friends back when they break up ?
i had 4 ex girlfriends, there is not a problem to meet and talk back with the 1st and 2nd ex partners of mine ... we went to tea and movie session without saying no to each other ... the 3rd one is a bit troublesome cause we felt awkward ... the 4th one, there is nothing to say as she have been avoiding me since the day we broke up ...
a few days ago, i contact back with the 3rd one via MSN Messenger ... we chat a lot ... and we are both glad that we dont feel awkward ... she mentioned that she is happy that she could talk back to me like last time ... and i told her that im here with a mission ... i want to turn the word that states ex partners cant be friends back when they break up ... and im glad that i manage to turn the word around ...
my mission will complete when i could be friends back with the 4th one ... but that goal seems hard to achieve ... i recently know, she just blocked me in MSN Messenger ... we have lost the way to contact each other ... it will be a high mountain to climb ... haih

and so, falling in love is one of the stages we will go through in our life ... yes, there will be happy moments when everything goes well ... but there will also be unhappy, frustrated moments esspecially when things goes bad and leads to break ups ... it takes a lot of courage and determination to stand back up from a break up ... but what make it even harder is when we have to accept the fact of the break up and be friends back with our ex partners ...
a lot of people i met said once a couple break up, they could never be friends back ... from what i see, that is the fact ... a lot of couple will feel awkward to meet each other, so they would rather dont meet each other ... if possible, for their whole life to avoid the awkward situation ...
but i want to ask, is it impossible for ex partners to be friends back when they break up ?

i will be organising a class outing for our class ... EN TG1 of 2009 ...
The detail of the event is as follows :
Proposed dates : 27th, 28th and 29th September 2009
Location : Pulau Pangkor
Fees : RM130 per person which includes :-

Tips for Guys !!
I found this article when i was browsing through facebook ... and it is kinda ... interesting ...
Actions speak louder than words... So it’s not only about the sweet things that you say to your girlfriend, its all about the things that you can do for her...
1.Call her as soon as you wake up just to say a good morning!
2.Have a busy day ahead? Meet up with your girlfriend for breakfast.
3.Call her at least once in the day to find if she was doing fine.

I recommend you ...
i always wanted to recommend a book for all my friends ... this book teaches me a lot of things that i do not learn in school ... teaches me how to be prepare to face the world outside ... i bring to you ...
here, rich dad poor dad by Robert T.Kiyosaki with Sharon L. Lechter ...
Mr. Robert T.Kiyosaki is a american japanese born in the state of Hawaii ... in this book, he describe how he go through his childhood by having 2 dads ... one is his own dad which he describe him educated but poor dad ... another dad is his friend's father which he describe him as uneducated but rich dad ... his book literally explains out what his 2 dads thought him in different perspective about money ... he applies the education that both of his dad gave him in making him towards the financial freedom ...
this book stresses tips and advice in story mode on how we achieve financial independence through investing, real estates, owning businesses and how we use finance protection tactics to avoid taxes ...
he further criticise the education system now dont prepare us to face the financial world in the REAL WORLD ... the old thinking of "study hard so you would get a safe and secure job with good paychecks" is no longer applicable in this era ... that is why we always see the rich is always the uneducated ones such as Dato Seri Lim Goh Tong, the founder of Genting Berhad ... and that is why we always see the educated ones work for the uneducated ones ...
this is a MUST READ book if ones want to excel in their life and be financially free from any debts and enjoy the continuous flow of their passive income ...

Reading is Inspiring
I come to know about BookFest @ Malaysia 2009 when i browse through http://www.thestar.com.my/ ...
i bought these books with amazing 25% and 50% rebates ... amazing deal right?
so, what is my new added short term goal now ... i will have to go through my first semester final exam first which will be on 16th September ended at 26th September ... Then ......
i will have to finish reading these book that i bought at the bookfest ...
besides celebrating Malaysia's 52nd birthday, the reason that i come back to KL from Kampar was mainly because of the event itself ... The event is located at the heart of the city, Kuala Lumpur Convenction Centre from 22nd to 31 August 2009 in conjunction of the national day celebration ... the bookfest occupies 5 halls from hall 1 to 5 ... can u imagine how big and grand the bookfest is ?
everybody who wishes to enter the bookfest had to pay rm2 as entrance fees and we will be given a booklet about the bookfest and also an entrance wristband ...
The booklet ... Simple yet meaningful ... Specially the slogan
the bookfest was filled with a lot of people ... many people from different race come join in the bookfest ... eventhough the fasting month of Ramadhan and also the country is infected with the pandemic influenza A(H1N1), the spirit and love for reading of the people brush it off ... this is something we could learn about ...
i spent around 3 hours in the bookfest ... spent about rm150 for the books ... it is amazingly cheap as i thought i would be paying around rm300 on those books ... it all thanks to the rebates and discount given by Popular ...

she once asked me this question ... "you think, those guys who beat their girlfriend is a bad guys right?"
and so i answered ... "definitely, those guys are total bastards and also trash ... having a girlfriend is to love and care them, not beat them"
i have been thinking of this question from her for days ... i dont feel comfortable these few days ... my heart is heavy and feel very uneasy ... and the main reason is obvious ... she found her new boyfriend since we broke up ... i have been wondering for days to figure out what type of guy her new boyfriend is ... and will that person be like those guys with bad guys lifestyle, and those who would beat their girlfriends ...
i found out the answer last night ... i dont know how to describe my reaction ... i was frustrated and pissed off to know that she return back to her ex boyfriend who beaten her last time ... after my answer on her question, she further states that she will never return to that guy again for what he had done to her in the past ... and now, the conclusion is ... she return back to him ... i'm not very sure on what she is thinking ... perhaps the saying is true ... in chinese proverbs, there is this verse saying "nan ren bu huai, nv ren bu ai" ... it meant woman wont like those guys who are good but they will fall badly for the bad ones ... i'm not so sure of the creditworthiness of this verse ... but if we applies it here ... it is true ...
i admit i'm dissapointed with this action of hers ...
but this action had thought me to give up ... stop the wait ... theres more things to be done besides waiting ... whenever i faces dissapointment, frustrated with myself, i will look at the sky ... the wide sky had thought me to see things in a bigger and wider dimension ... and it works ...
so what is the conclusion, the conclusion is ... i will put the courage to click on the delete button to delete off your pictures ... delete the poem that i've written for you ... before this, those are medicines to cure my drugs on you ... by seeing your personal message had made my heart numb ... those medicines dont work anymore ... so what is the point of keeping it ? i got to find a brand new medicine to cure the dissapointment ... and i know the only way is to stand back up myself ...
here, i wish you ... happy always with the person that you love ... pray that he wont repeat his bad actions and you would influence him to become a good man ... wishing you ... happy and good luck in your life ...
